International Travel Oversight Committee (ITOC)

ITOC reviews petitions by students or student groups planning to travel to a destination designated as higher risk by the US Department of State, by CSU’s insurance providers or are planning to engage in high risk activities. ITOC reviews petitions, and then after consideration will either approve, deny, or approve with conditions. ITOC membership consists of the Director of Education Abroad, International Risk Manager (Chair), General Counsel, Director of Safety Assessment and Support, and the CRO and Director of Office of Risk Management and Insurance. ITOC may also hold special meetings to determine CSU activities as it relates to student travel in specific countries as a response to ongoing security and risk assessments.
